Learn to Tweet for Your Small Business Twitter Chat

Learn to Tweet To Gain Leads and Sales

learn to tweet for your small businessMany people do not know how to use Twitter still today. Entrepreneurs need help with this. This upcoming Twitter chat will help you to learn to tweet for your small business, and to gain leads and make sales. It’s been long overdue that I have moderated a Twitter Chat. This one was inspired by SMhack after the webinar where I was a guest speaker for them. I wanted to take it a step further and follow up with a Twitter chat.

The previous webinar included tips about various social networks and included some examples of brilliant users like Sam Hurley as well from them.

As a matter of fact so many Twitter users sign up with their business names and tweet for only a week or maybe a month and give up. You see it often if you visit small business websites and click on their Twitter handle. It will take you to their Twitter page that hasn’t been updated in years! These small businesses really need help when it comes to Twitter and I plan on helping them along the way; one at a time of course!

Learn to Tweet for Your Small Business

Lisa Sicard webinar for SMhackThe topic of this Twitter Chat will be like our webinar from a few weeks ago. It will be to help agencies to gain leads and new clients via Twitter and other social media networks.

What are the best ways to gain traction on this social network Twitter today?

Therefore I’d love to know your questions and feel free to tweet me at @inspiretothrive with #Learntotweet hashtag any time prior the event taking place on Tuesday, October 24th at 7 p.m.

Furthermore I learned years go the value of Twitter when I had an eCommerce store and my biggest orders came from using Twitter. I never looked back and enjoyed the Twitter network. In addition I’ve met wonderful people and friends via Twitter as a side benefit. Twitter is still my #1 source of traffic to the blog today!

Others Want to Know How to Use Twitter Smarter

At the same time I was also inspired by a user on Quora recently who asked What am I doing wrong on Twitter, since I have upwards of 100k Twitter impressions per month, but very few people are visiting my websites? This is common for many using Twitter today, they can tweet away but not see results. One of the missing ingredients using Twitter is engagement and helping others right there on Twitter. This user was sticking with it – tweeting away but still not seeing the results.

Others often ask who do I follow on Twitter? The answer is very different for different people. It will often depend on how you are using Twitter. Is it for personal or business use. If it is for business use, what type of business can make a big difference too. Every user on Twitter is unique. Oftentimes I recommend to new users to start following 200 people. Then build on that slowly over time. You will NOT see instant results from Twitter, you must have PATIENCE as it does take TIME. But once it does start to produce results, you will see the results snowball as long as you keep at it.

Your Monday is almost over too:)

  • Hello Lisa,

    Great one over here 🙂

Indeed Twitter is love, one can bring boost to their small business by using this social media platform.

Obvious one needs to be active on their social accounts, if some one is not active for too long, then people think that
person is vanished or what. Commitment is very must in what ever we do. If one is giving their full to any thing they will
    achieve something good.

Asking our followers to re-tweet our stuff and doing the same for them do turn the favor for our self. People will began to know us
and if we are good at something we need to make that shout so many more do visit us.

Thanks for sharing this among us.

    • Thank you Shantanu, oh yes, active on Twitter is really a must to be successful on that network or any social network for that matter. It works well when you collaborate and engage with others on any social network but especially on Twitter. I hope you can make the Twitter Chat tomorrow Shantanu. Looking forward to it!

  • Hey Lisa,

    Thanks a bunch!

This opportunity is indeed a rare one.

For me, twitter still remains my number tool for leads and sales generation.

Tweeting is one thing and tweeting to get engagements is yet another.

One strategy that work for me is that I politely ask my followers to retweet my tweet and it has been working wonders over here.

My advice to any out there who wants to make use of twitter to the full is that he/she should always make use of twitter analytics to know which marketing strategies, which CTAs worked to keep on using them.

Just like you said, for one who’s starting, it will take time. But the wait is worth it.

Lisa do expect me on your twitter chat.

    • Hi Golden, welcome to Inspire To Thrive! You are welcome. Great to hear it’s your #1 tool as well. That is something I do not do often but hear for others that it does work. I may try it on this post to get the word out more too. Thank you.
You are right on the Twitter analytics, they are key to knowing more about your audience.
Look forward to having you on the chat Tuesday. Thanks for coming by and have a great rest of the weekend.
