Are there tactics that you can use to ensure success? The answer is yes, as long as you are willing to put in the effort and time. Here are some of the best link-building strategies for crypto websites:
1. Guest Posting
Guest posting is one of the most popular link-building strategies for crypto and blockchain websites. It involves creating a blog post on another website that links back to your own website. This gives you valuable inbound links from reputable sites, which can help with SEO and drive more organic traffic to your website.
Guest posting is also a great way to expand your reach and build relationships with industry influencers.
When it comes to crypto and blockchain websites, guest posting can be a powerful tool for boosting visibility and increasing your outreach efforts. You’ll need to choose the right websites for your post, as not all sites will have the same impact. Look for websites with high domain authority and an engaged audience that is interested in the topics that you cover.
2. Broken Link Building
Another effective link-building strategy for crypto and blockchain websites is broken link-building. This involves finding broken links on other websites that lead to pages on your own website, then reaching out to the webmasters of those sites and asking them to replace the dead links with active ones from your site.
Not only does this help improve SEO, but it also shows that you take the time to look after other people’s websites and care about their content.
3. Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing is a great way to build links for crypto and blockchain websites. You can work with influencers in the industry who have considerable followings on social media or blogs, then ask them to create content or link to your website.
This can be done in exchange for compensation or other incentives, such as free products and services. 4. Content Marketing
Content marketing is another powerful link-building strategy for crypto and blockchain websites. You can create content that’s informative, entertaining, and helpful for your target audience, then link to it from other websites.
This not only helps with SEO but also drives more traffic to your website as people share and link to the content you create. Additionally, it gives you an opportunity to educate people about your company and its products or service.
5. Unlinked Brand Mentions
Unlinked brand mentions can be a great way to build links for crypto and blockchain websites. This involves finding websites that have mentioned your company or products without linking to them, then reaching out to the webmasters and asking them to add a link.
Brand mentions are an effective way to increase visibility and establish yourself as an authority in the industry.
6. Link Exchange
Finally, link exchanges are a great way to build links for crypto and blockchain websites. This involves working with other websites in the same or similar industries and exchanging links. Link exchanges can be beneficial for both parties, as it helps increase visibility and drive more traffic to both websites.
However, it’s important to make sure you only exchange links with reputable, high-quality websites.

Link Building Dos And Don’ts For The Crypto Niche
Once you are familiar with the link-building strategies that will help your crypto website thrive, it’s time to get started with a list of SEO tips and tricks.
The Link Building DOs are:
- Focus on link quality: Quality links will have a larger impact than low-quality ones. Make sure to focus on getting high-domain authority sites to link back to your website
- Research before pitching: Before contacting any website, do some research and make sure you are familiar with the content they post and their target audience. This will ensure that your pitch is relevant and tailored to the website
- Be personal: Personalized pitches are more effective than generic ones. Make sure to mention the webmaster’s name and show that you’ve done your research on the website.
- Follow up: Don’t be afraid to follow up if you don’t hear back from a website after making an initial contact. Many times, webmasters simply forget to respond, so a follow-up can be the difference between getting a link or not.
Don’ts in Link Building:
- Don’t use link farms: It’s important to avoid link farms when building links for your crypto website. These are websites that have been created solely for the purpose of providing links and will likely do more harm than good.
- Don’t buy links: Paying for links is against Google’s guidelines and can result in a penalty or even your website being removed from search results. Therefore, it’s important to stay away from any service that promises you “instant” or “guaranteed” links.
- Avoid link exchanges: Link exchanges are not as effective as they once were, and can even result in penalties if done incorrectly. It’s best to focus on building relationships with other websites and creating high-quality content that will naturally attract links.
Conclusion Of Building Crypto Links 101
Link building is a critical part of SEO for any website, and it’s especially important for crypto and blockchain websites. By using the strategies outlined above, you can create quality backlinks that can help boost your visibility and attract more organic traffic to your site. Just remember to adhere to the link-building dos and don’ts in order to ensure that your efforts are successful.

Lisa this is a great article…..I currently leverage only two of them which are Guest posting and link exchange..
But you didn’t mention a link strategy that usually attracts links the most in the crypto and forex niches.
I work for a company that teaches Crypto and forex trading and almost all the quality links that didn’t take us stress to acquire came from podcasts..DR 91, 80, 70, etc.
If you are in the crypto niche then it is obvious you are a trader and as well buy and sell cryptocurrencies
So a lot of podcast hosts are so much interested in authors in this niche to share their trading strategies etc.
Podcasts always helps for easy link building in my experience dealing with niches like this
I hope this helps…..
