Hey Lisa,
I guess I am late to the party.
I have read many tweets by President Trump and he really knows how to engage people.
Those personal tweets can really boost your Twitter growth. Using images and videos is a plus point. Though I don’t use any video but will give a try soon.
How about you? What’s your success formula for Twitter? I always wanted to master it.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Enjoy your day.
~Ravi
Hi Ravi, it’s never too late. I don’t use video much either Ravi, something I have a hard time with especially videoing of myself. I do use a lot of images and gifs though. I find if you spend a little time on Twitter, use your lists and use a little automation tool like the Buffer to tweet out throughout the day is pretty much my formula today. Of course engage with others there too. Thanks for coming by Ravi and have yourself a great day ahead!
Hello Lisa
I especially like the content of this post. I have spent a great deal of time working on building my Twitter following and credibility and it is essential to only follow high-quality contributors. It’s essential to periodically go through those you’re following and assess whether they are valuable to have as a follower.
Understanding hashtags is imperative in order to adequately provide your well thought out content to the conversations you’re seeking to contribute to. Once establishing a following within a hashtag and gaining credibility amongst fellow contributors, it becomes easier to gain a following within the community as well as overall increased probability of respect.
Hi Anuradha, welcome to Inspire to Thrive. Oh yes, you must clean up those folks you followed years ago to see if they are still active on Twitter. Yes, hashtags are key too on Twitter as are images and content. President Trump seems to use Hashtags often and they surely help reach more people on their searches. Many searches on Google show tweets now too . Thanks for coming by and have a great rest of the week Anuradha.
Hi Lisa, Nice tricks on Twitter.
I really agree with your point. Tweets with quirky images are more shared on twitter. Twitter is a social platform to send short messages that can convey a bigger story. Using the relevant/ trendy #tags and tagging the right people will help us to reach millions of people.

Being a personal brand or a business competing with digital transformation and social media, consistency is a must thing to have when it comes to communication with your customers.
And Yes, “We live in a world that’s in love with videos.” Engagement can be brought through media attached with tweets for sure.
Hi Nimesh, welcome to Inspire to Thrive. Oh yes, consistency is key and many lose it after several months. Many start out blogging or on Twitter and within months gave up. President Trump has been strong on Twitter since 2009. Thanks for coming by and have a great day!

Lisa: Regarding your sentence: “He doesn’t tweet about what he eats.” Didn’t he tweet about Trump Tower tacos on Cinco de Mayo?
Hi Martin, you got me on that one. But it was relevant for that day. He doesn’t tweet about food unless it’s relevant. I should have been clearer on that one. Thanks for coming by and have a great day!

Hi Lisa,
Great post! Now who would have thought President Trump would teach us something about tweeting – but the way you laid it out here, I can see it now.
I was reading Bren’s comment about other companies following suit by keeping us updating on what’s new in their company and I totally agree with her.
Thanks for putting this together for us! Have a great day and week!
Cori
Hi Cori, LOL, right? But seriously he can tweet smart and we can also learn from one of his mistakes. Don’t leave any abbreviations for chance, people were all over that one. Thanks for coming by Cori and have a great day! Happy Valentine’s Day.
Hey Lisa!
Love, Love, Love your post, especially because it’s our NEW President! You go girl! I think we can all take tips from him because he DOES make his points clear as day. I believe that is one reason why many will hate on him for tweeting. However, times are changing. We had a rapping First Lady with Mrs. O, and Mr. O was ALWAYS on some tv talk show, so why not promote what you’re most passionate about on Twitter?
I follow our President on Twitter and Facebook because he is keeping us well-informed of what he’s doing, what direction our Country is going in, and what he’s doing to make it better. Can you image if some of our big name Companies would do that? Like having Hewlett Packard share what is happening in their company, what’s coming, and what they are doing to make their product greater?
I’m all for it and enjoy the President’s tweets. We could all take tips from him imo.
Great post, girl! Happy Sunday!
B
Thanks Brenda. That’s true, promote what you are passionate about for sure! That is a really good point, companies could do that too – even share with their employees as long as it’s public knowledge. Businesses and people could really learn from his tweets if they wasn’t so much hate going around out there. Thanks again Brenda and hope you had a great weekend!
