Create Video Tutorials with Movavi Screen Capture
Video is crucial today in generating traffic and leads via social media and SEO. Therefore I thought I’d share a quick great way to do some for your blog or small business today. Being able to create video tutorials can help your small business blogging this year and beyond.
Why Video is Key Today
It is well known that video can increase your conversion rates on your blog or website. Many people today prefer to watch a video to learn something instead of reading about it. That is why YouTube and Facebook videos are so popular today.
Besides conversions video can also decrease your bounce rate as viewers stay longer on your site watching the videos.
SEO is another factor for using video as it increases your SEO ranking. Not to mention Facebook prefers video in the newsfeed and we all know how important that is since the Facebook algorithm keeps on changing. Facebook live video is also becoming dominant on that platform.

How Movavi Makes it Easy to Create Video Tutorials
The software for Movavi is easy to download. They do offer a 7-day FREE trial for you to try.
They offer a screen capture version for $39.95, a video editor plus $59.95, and a video suite for $79.95. (Affordably priced!)
The Screen Capture Studio combines an all-purpose screen video capture program with a powerful but easy-to-use video editor. It also has a large number of quick export settings to optimize your recordings for specific mobile devices or for sharing online.

You can capture lessons on your screen and use voiceovers with it. It’s a great way to do a presentation for clients and readers alike. You can use the videos on Facebook, YouTube on your blog, or the website itself.
Create Video Tutorials Easily
Are you ready? Just create video tutorials It’s easy to get started.
You can choose from doing screen captures for your video. Or you can do it with voice recording and /or with your webcam. You can use all 3 in one if you like or just one individual.
Make sure when you get started you do select the capture area on the left-hand corner – that is one I did not do and you can learn from my errors once again here. It can be easy to miss!
Then you can then choose the audio or webcam if you like. If you don’t click them you will see a horizontal line through them like this image – which means they are off. One is the computer’s system audio and the other is for a microphone.
Create Video Tutorials and Then Edit Them
Once you have created your video tutorial you can then edit them easily too. You can use the edit tools to improve the quality of your video. Then you can apply special effects to the video. There is an option to do video voiceovers or add some background music. Text may be added for titles and captions too.
Get creative and have some fun creating your video tutorials. Ryan Biddulph recently did a screen capture video on how to tweet for blog profits. I like how he had his image on the bottom of the screen capture video. Nice one Ryan! He inspired me to take a look at how to create video tutorials.
Why Screen Capture Videos?
If you are shy like me about doing videos, this is a great way to do them without having to be in the video each time. You can do what Ryan did and just have your image at the bottom of the screen capture.
To be able to create video tutorials like this is much easier than videoing yourself in front of the camera for the entire time. Movavi screen capture studio can save you both time and money. It doesn’t get much better than that!
I’d love to know in the comments below if you will be using this software soon or if you are currently using it.

Hi Lisa,
I agree video is key today. I need to learn how to use this tool. Bookmarked!
Janice
Hi Janice, thanks for coming by on this one. It was pretty easy to use, it did not take too long to learn this one. Of course if you want to make it great it will take a little time but a few hours should be all it takes for you. Have a great weekend!
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for telling us about Movavi! It looks pretty easy to use. I wasn’t sure which one to use so I started using Screencast but I’m definitely checking this one out for sure. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s free. 🙂
Hope you’re having a great week!
Cori
Hi Cori, you are welcome. I’d love to know how the two compare when you try it out. Do let me know. How are you? I saw you had a dental issue. Thanks for coming by and have a great rest of the week Cori.
Hi Lisa,
I have also had good experiences using Movavi – although I must admit I’ve slacked off lately, so thanks for the reminder!
The thought of making a video with ME in it is too daunting (and the results too grim) so Movavi is a great solution for the camera-shy.
Joy Healey – Blogging After Dark
Hi Joy, glad to hear you have used it Joy. Did you use it for tutorials? I know, I Feel the same but know we must get over that fear too as video is really going to dominate the web this year. Thanks for coming by Joy and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Hi Lisa,
I love creating videos and screen tutorials and it is my mission this year to create more videos to provide even more value and to help increase awareness about my brand, products, and services.
I’ve never used Movavi Screen Capture, but it does look very interesting. I use Screen-Cast-Omatic which has been OK for the last few years but lacks some features.
I’ve tried Facebook Live apps and other live streaming tools and it just doesn’t do it for me at the moment. I prefer to polish up my videos than produce raw un-edited content.
Great post, Lisa.
Hi Fabrizio, you do very well with them, I have seen some 🙂 I’d love to know how this one stacks up against the one you have been using! I hope to do more video this year as well. Most of my work is done before I shower in the a.m. so it makes it hard to find the right time but I will. That’s a reason I love this screen capture, no me in the video, lol. Thanks for coming by Fabrizio and have a great weekend.
Very Informative post.
Video Marketing will be the next boom in Digital Marketing Business. Recently Facebook changed their algorithm and reduced the organic reach. Social Media platforms are the best way to get recognized and video marketing surely will help in this scenario.
I was looking for some best video and screen capture software and landed on your website.
I will definitely use this tool for creating video tutorials as I am planning to create a video course for some of my students related to Internet Marketing.
Thanks Laxminarayan and welcome to Inspire to Thrive. I agree – video marketing is here to stay! I just read this morning that Twitter is looking to make Video easier there with just one step to start vs 2 or 3. I am certainly going to be using this one in the near future too. Thanks for coming by and have a great day and weekend ahead. Love to know how you like the software once you try it 🙂
Hi Lisa,
Great tutorial with the Mavovi software, and with the amazing features you highlighted, I think it is great to go to it. Even though I have created any videos yet, it is on my radar, because according to recent study, videos will account for about 80℅ of all traffic by 2019. That’s remarkable, making video content a must use for content marketers.
I love the video you sent to me about Zest. Thanks for sharing Lisa!
Hi Moss, thank you. That is quite the stat on video.
I like that it can also reduce our bounce rates.
I’m glad you loved that one and were able to use it Moss.
Thanks for coming by and have a great day!
Hey Lisa,
I never create video because it is out of my work and also i used to feel that creating a video is a difficult task but your post clear some of my doubts. Movavi is just amazing software. i will try to get 7 days free trial.
Thanks for sharing this 🙂
Hi Yasir, you are welcome. I feel the same way, I’ve done some video but this makes it easier and takes the stress of being on camera for the whole time off. I’d love to know how you like it once you do use it. Thanks for coming by!
Hey Lisa,
I am actually not in video marketing but have played a little bit with Camtasia Studio and find it very useful and reliable. I haven’t heard of Movavi screen recorder. I will definitely give it a try. Thanks for sharing it.
Have a Great Day 🙂
Vishwajeet
Hi Vishwajeet, I have not heard of that one. I guess there are a few of these screen capture videos available. I’d love to know how you find this one in comparison. Thanks for coming Vishwajeet and enjoy your day!
Hi Lisa,
I screen capture ALL my videos and Facebook Live Streams. Sometimes I use them in my post, other times I share it with Youtube. But most of all, if done consecutively can make a heck of a nice broadcast to be a learning curve for others.
I always suggest to my shy students and friends to use screen captures because if they are camera shy, they can STILL go forward with those lovely learning capsules to give to others. They can share it anywhere they like. But most of all, it does give a good outline for talking points.
-Donna
Hi Donna – I remember your post on it now, was it a different company or the same one? I hadn’t thought of putting them on YouTube, my channel has been sitting idle for 2 years now 🙁
It is a great way to show others how to do things though. I am a bit camera shy so I can’t wait to do more with this software. Thanks for coming by on this Donna. I hope things are well your way 🙂
Hey Lisa
Such an amazing post , i really appreciate your effort in this article , you can teach us or give us method to use create video tutorials in great way
Thank you Lisa
hope so you will write new articles soon
Hi Nicky, welcome to Inspire to Thrive. You are most welcome. Have you done much video yet? Do you like the idea of the screen capture more? Thanks for coming by and stay tuned for more info here.
Hi Nicky,
Yes, Lisa is good at teaching her readers, which is why I love to come for more of her instructional or better still, tutorial articles. She makes it a lot easier to understand what to do and what not to do.
However, I visited your website after you left a comment of one of my articles. But unfortunately, after reading your post, I could not find the comments section where I can leave comments.
Thanks for visiting, and hope to see you soon again!
Hey Lisa! Happy Monday! I hope your father is doing better.
This looks like a pretty cool application for making videos. I currently use Awesome Screenshot for any video tutorials that my client’s may need. The best thing, it’s free. 😉 However, Movavi seems to have a lot more features available with it. Could be well worth the investment, no?
Thank you for sharing this with us!
As you know, I’m not a huge Pats fan but surprised they pulled it off. My Facebook feed was filled with Pats and Eagles yesterday! Ugh…. lol
Have a great week ahead, my friend. You know I’ll be passing this along!
Hi Bren, I haven’t heard of that one that you use. Can you do voice overs and add images etc? I’d love for you to compare them with a 7 day free trial. You are most welcome.
I know – it’s like when I was a kid it was the Dallas Cowboys who won all the time. And the Pats were in last place, you could go see them for FREE, tickets were $5 back in those days. What a difference! I can’t believe I’ve been watching Brady for 20 years. I remember seeing his first interview on TV. LOL. Thanks for coming by Bren and have a great rest of the day.
