Getting verified on X now means an active Premium or Premium+ subscription and a passed review. It does not mean the account was ID-verified. Basic does not include the check. Legacy verified accounts lost the badge unless they subscribed. X stopped taking applications under the old “active, notable, and authentic” rules on April 1, 2023.
