You probably have read about AI for blogging, content marketing, AI art, and most other task-oriented jobs out there. But do you know what AI technology is? And will you be left behind in the content creation dust without it?
I remember as a teenager many years ago going to a match-matching dance in high school. We completed a computer-generated test to get matched up with others classmates.
When you arrived at the dance you found out who your matches were. Of course, with my luck, I ended up with the boy I broke up with earlier that month, lol.
Isn’t that a form of AI? It’s been around since the 1970s. And of course, in 2017 Google announced RankBrain – an AI tool for its mammoth search engine to rank the search results better.
What Is AI Technology?
AI technology copies human behavior by performing tasks such as analyzing data, recognizing patterns, and making decisions based on those patterns. AI automates processes or provides more accurate results than most humans.
For example, AI uses large amounts of analyzed data quickly and accurately or recognizes patterns in customer behaviors that allow businesses to anticipate future needs.
How Does AI Work?
AI works by taking input from various sources – such as data sets or user input – and using algorithms to process this information. The algorithms are programmed with instructions on how to interpret the data and then “learn” from it.
As they “learn” more about the data they are processing, they become better at predicting outcomes or recognizing patterns. These would otherwise be impossible for humans to detect.
This helps machines become smarter over time and allows them to perform tasks faster and more accurately than ever before.

Are You Afraid To Use This Technology?
When people fear new technologies they push back. Many people are afraid of losing their jobs to AI technology. And that has happened in some cases as I saw on a Twitter chat last week about the topic.
A3: My agency has already replaced most of our content team and graphics team with AI software! Cheaper and better quality results. #serpstat_chat https://t.co/yQO52waOs7

However, is there any job security out there today in this world? I used to work in the newspaper business. I saw layoffs after layoffs and finally left the corporate day job on my own to start a business: Inspire To Thrive.
Everyone should be ready to pivot at any given moment if they want to stay competitive and work or run a business.
Will You Be Left Behind In The Content Creation Dust?
AI has already changed the way we work and live. And with its continued advancements, it will continue to do so in the years ahead. In order for your businesses – including bloggers and content marketers – to stay ahead of your competitors, you must incorporate AI into your business. It allows you to remain competitive in today’s digital landscape.
AI can help increase efficiency, save time, improve accuracy, reduce costs, identify trends faster than ever before…the list goes on!
As you increasingly rely on digital platforms such as search engines and social media sites for lead generation and content distribution; having a strong knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) becomes a key factor for staying ahead of your competition in the current digital space.
By leveraging advances in machine learning technology, you can gain access to powerful insights which can help you make informed decisions quickly while increasing accuracy across multiple tasks including customer segmentation analysis or predictive analytics. Sounds like those SEO tools many bloggers use, right?
With these advantages firmly embedded within its core competency; AI has become an invaluable tool that you should not overlook if you wish to remain competitive in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace.
What Are The Drawbacks To AI Technology For Content?
- Interpretations may vary
- Leaning left or right on content vs. simple facts
- Outdated facts and references
- You are left out as a reference to the articles
- Skillset may decrease if you don’t write daily on your own
What Are The Benefits Of AI?
- Get more done in less time
- Generate more content
- Learn to write better or at the least, differently
- Create quicker blogs, emails, social media posts, and digital ads
- Makes YOU better – a “right arm” for you to use
AI Art Generator
Not only is AI for writing content today but also for producing graphic arts. For example, if you need an image of a city skyline at night but don’t have the time or skill to draw one from scratch, an AI-based program could generate one automatically in minutes. You could then customize it further with your own touches if desired. This AI tool aids in producing videos and animations as well.
Graphic AI Art
AI for graphic arts refers to the use of machine learning technologies to generate detailed images that look realistic without requiring any manual labor. It’s becoming increasingly popular among digital artists as they can save time by having their artwork created automatically. This also means that they don’t have to worry about having the skills necessary to manually create detailed images.
In addition, AI-generated visuals are often much more detailed than their human-made counterparts. This allows designers to quickly create complex images without having to spend hours or days drawing them by hand.
Thanks to this technology, digital artists can now produce better-quality visuals faster than ever before.
What Others Are Saying
There is a lot of chatter about this online and on social media. You read about it every day. It’s a love-hate relationship with the AI technology coming out every day.
Denise Wakeman shares how she uses ChatGPT on her blog:
One of the key benefits of ChatGPT is its ability to save time and effort for small and solo business owners. Instead of spending hours brainstorming ideas or writing and editing content, you can use ChatGPT to do the work for you. Simply enter a prompt and let ChatGPT generate ideas or write content for you. You can review the output and make edits (highly recommended!) to fit your specific needs and, most importantly, your voice. – Denise Wakeman
According to this article on AI for content marketing, AI can enhance our jobs by Small Business Rainmaker:
This assistance is indeed proving beneficial for content marketers as they can now focus more on higher-value activities and improve business performance. Machines today possess the capability to perform minor content works while marketers do the job of enhancing the content quality further. – Small Business Rainmaker.
Sue-Ann from Write Mix For Business gives both sides of the coin in her article.
The point of ALL of this boils down to one simple point. STOP LOOKING DOWN AND LOOK UP AND OUT. Everyone likes to complain about how something will be but the problem is they only look down and do not see the future. They only see the spot they are standing on, not the potential of what will or could be. – Write Mix For Business.
Anthony Gaenzle writes about the growth of your business using AI:
In short, AI Marketing isn’t just good for your business, it is essential for explosive growth in an increasingly technological landscape.
Blending the careful eye of humans with the efficiency of computers is an excellent formula for success. The only concern is properly integrating it; a strong IT team is highly recommended. – Gaenzle Marketing
Nikola Roza writes about the results of ChatGPT since it began in November 2022:
With the magnitude of the buzz around the launch, there is no doubt ChatGPT is going to be a big part of our lives. OpenAI certainly still has a great deal of work to get it there.
OpenAI is constantly updating ChatGPT and updates keep functioning better and better – A sign of a better, error-free future. – Nikola Roza
And one blogger against using AI is Ryan Biddulph from Blogging From Paradise:
AI may be improving but it is a bad idea to use this artificial technology to write your blog posts.
There you are. I said it. – Ryan Biddulph
I use Jasper from time to time to write a few paragraphs here and there. I always check any facts as sometimes they may be outdated or leaning in one direction or another. Then I edit in my own words. But it does save a lot of time for me to create content and update older content. It makes me a better writer as I see new ways of expressing what I want to say.
By using AI-generated information as the foundation for your writing, you can save valuable time while still having the potential to expand on that data in creative ways – honing your craft into something greater than before.
What’s your experience with using AI to help you generate content today? Have you tried it? What do you think the future of AI will be for content, art, and digital marketing?

Yes, there are new tools coming out every day for content creators and content marketers.
They fear what they don’t know and are fearful of losing their jobs because of it.
It can but it also can enhance jobs and make other jobs. Someone needs to program and repair the robots.
You may as others can create a lot more content quicker. Plus you can learn a lot through using these tools.
Saving you time and time = money.

Thanks for the post. A much needed one in times of debate for and against AI.
I agree that AI can help you write better, express yourselves better, save time, and be more productive overall.
But there’s a downside to it. I have tried it several times and it seems if you are too much dependent on AI, your thought process and creativity can vanish within no time. It can make you lazy. It did make me.
So I decided not to depend on it too much.
On the other hand, the graphics AI technology is super helpful for bloggers and written content creators as graphics aren’t a major part of a writer’s work and doens’t matter much even if they are a little off. This technology saves a chunk of time for writers.
To keep up with the competition and not be left outpaced by your competitors, I think you should incorporate bits and pieces of AI in your strategy but restrain yourself from getting over-dependent on it.
Thanks again for this insightful post.
Ali from Infoverses.
Hi Ali, welcome to Inspire To Thrive. Yes, I would agree with you on that too. Although I must say it is a great starter for me. Once I get started I’m good to go on my own. I haven’t used the graphics tool too much yet. It does look interesting! I guess you and I are on the same page with AI Ali. Thanks for coming by and taking the time to comment here. Have a great day.
Thanks so much for the shoutout Lisa 🙂
Let ai do like….1/10th of your work. Do 9/10ths with your own mind, to keep it fit, to sharpen your brainstorming and outlining potential and to keep ai at bay.
