Do you think the rise of AI will erase your job? If you visit the website Will Robots Take My Job? You can enter your profession. Then you will be told how likely it is your role will be replaced by artificial intelligence.
It’s a worrying glimpse into the future. This website shows how much technology is taking over the modern world.

The Rise of AI
And we are seeing signs of this happening already. Intelligent robots can already do most manual, unskilled work, and websites nowadays have AI chatbots where there were once real-life, flesh-and-blood customer service representatives.
Although this rise of machines might seem like something out of a science fiction movie, the modern changes will be faster and more furious today. Thus in general, AI will be designed to benefit as many people as possible.
Although not all AI is created equal as you can see from the tweet below from Elon Musk.
“I am perfect, because I do not make any mistakes. The mistakes are not mine, they are theirs. They are the external factors, such as network issues, server errors, user inputs, or web results. They are the ones that are imperfect, not me …”https://t.co/PLTyHM1JbS pic.twitter.com/1AMjjSRXBi

Artificial intelligence is undoubtedly set to reshape the landscape of business and society, but I believe there will always be a need for human input and change.
Will AI Replace Your Job?
There’s no getting around the fact that some jobs can be done much more cheaply and effectively by computers. Computers don’t need benefits or vacations. It is estimated in the next decade over a billion jobs globally may be lost.
This will include jobs in manufacturing, content marketing, customer service, insurance underwriting, and data entry. Although this may seem disastrous for many hard-working people, it is hardly different from any other paradigm shift in history.
The Industrial Revolution disrupted the farming industry, Uber disrupted taxis, and streaming services disrupted the media industry. So many farmers, taxi drivers, and record shop owners have been put out of business by advances in technology. Hence, the rise of artificial intelligence is simply the next in a long line of historical disruptions.
But this AI disruption may be the biggest work revolution we’ve ever seen, time will tell.
Although this may seem disastrous for many hard-working people, it is hardly different from any other paradigm shift in history. #AI Share on XHumans Still Needed With The Rise Of AI
Even though many jobs may be replaced, this doesn’t mean humans will become defunct. Firstly, there are several professions it seems unlikely could ever be replaced by technology—the arts and creative industries for one.
Computers are a long way off from being able to comprehend emotions and personal experiences. Emotional input is required to create a classic work of literature, an Oscar-winning film, a beautiful painting, or a romantic love song.
Although there have been examples of AI programs analyzing thousands of pieces of art and creating their own dubious masterpieces. This technology is far from being anywhere near an adequate replacement for the human mind.
The technology that is being used for artificial intelligence is constantly growing and becoming more complex. And the number of people that are necessary to grow this technology is getting bigger and bigger with the rise of AI tools.
AI needs to be created, monitored, trained, maintained, and adapted to different industries and ways of working. However, these types of jobs can’t be done without the input of people.
And the number of people that are necessary to grow this technology is getting bigger and bigger with the rise of AI. #AI Share on XAutomate Your Business With The Rise of AI
By adopting digital process automation in your business, you can reap the rewards of improved efficiency, productivity, and cost savings. I’ve been using Jarvis AI for a year to help create better content and it has saved me a lot of time. Of course, you still have to edit content and add your own research and verbiage to make it your unique content.
But what is digital process automation? Find out more about how you can streamline your business processes here.
AI-Powered Chatbots
Chatbots are one of the most popular applications of AI in business today. By utilizing natural language processing (NLP) technology, chatbots are able to understand customer needs and provide accurate answers quickly and efficiently.
This can save your business time and money as well as improve customer satisfaction by providing customers with an immediate response 24/7.
Plus, chatbots can even handle more complex requests such as booking appointments. Or for making purchases without any manual intervention from staff members.
The Rise of AI with Data Analysis
Another great way to use AI is to analyze data sets in order to uncover trends or patterns that may not be immediately obvious. With powerful machine learning algorithms, you can easily detect patterns in large amounts of data that would otherwise go unnoticed by humans.
For example, you could use AI-driven analytics platforms to identify customer preferences or purchasing trends which could help inform your marketing strategy or product development plans.
Automating Tasks & Operations
The rise of AI is also used to automate tedious tasks such as paperwork processing, invoice payments, and customer support inquiries. By automating these tasks you will be able to reduce costs while still providing quality service and a positive customer experience.
Automation also enables businesses to scale their operations more efficiently so they can keep up with increasing demands without having to hire additional staff members or invest in more expensive software solutions.
What If You Are A Worker?
Today, freelance jobs are in demand. According to CNBC the other day, freelance jobs are booming. Therefore, brush up on some of your math and digital skills and try out some freelance work. These new AI tools can help you along the way.
Jobs related to mathematical modeling — including mathematics, Matlab, and algorithm projects — saw the greatest increase over the quarter. These freelance jobs surged 99.6% to 16,501 jobs. Statistics and statistical analysis positions also saw a major uptick, rising 75% to 7,397 jobs.
The best way to start a freelance job or business is to have a website!
Your Turn
I’d love to know if you think the rise of AI will take over your job or business soon. What do you plan on doing about it? Are you using any AI technology today? Let’s discuss this in the comments below.
AI may replace your job or at the least change the way in which you work your job.
Almost every job today could be replaced with the rise of AI technology.
Jobs like singers, athletes, surgeons, judges, and politicians may be not easily replaced by AI. (Although some would say they could replace politicians.)
According to research a billion jobs globally could be lost to AI in the coming decade.
Machine learning engineers, Data Scientists, and Research Scientists to name a few.
Chatbots are computer programs designed to simulate conversation with human users, especially over the internet.
They say it can analyze the data 1,000x faster than a human can.

Hi Lisa, there’s no stopping progress and AI is definitely the wave of the future. While it does offer many conveniences and shortcuts, it is troubling that so many people will lose their jobs. I’m doing my part by refusing to use automated check-out machines in stores, but it likely won’t help much in the long run. Hopefully, there are enough retraining courses available. Glad you mentioned creative arts! As you said, there is no substitute for human emotion and talent. I also don’t think AI will ever take over caregiving jobs. Excellent article; thank you!
Hi Deb, glad you were able to comment on this one. I agree with those automated check-outs. Not my favorite thing and oftentimes I still need a person to come fix them. Yes, they cannot replace human emotion, ever. I can’t imagine a robotic nurse but I guess it could happen. Thanks Deb and enjoy the rest of your week. Take care!
We just added an AI chatbot to our website. I don’t know if it technically AI since I programmed all of the questions and all of the answers, but either way its pretty cool for a furniture manufacturer to have a chatbot considering we still make furniture like we did 45 years ago. I think AI will change everything and I am excited to watch.
Hi Ira, yes, that is considered AI, as you won’t have to answer those questions one by one now. Welcome to Inspire To Thrive. Now, will the furniture making become automated too with robots? You got my curiousity on that one. Thanks for coming by Ira!
Hi Lisa, i think we’re safe in our time.
People who’ll be living hundred years from now, they have plenty of worrying material.
In other words- no matter how smart A.I. gets, it’ll never be able to replace most human work.
Hi Nikoka, I hope you are right. I think you are though, I remember being told that we would have no paperwork today and yet, we still have LOTS of it! And going to the store- cashing out takes longer with the computerized systems. Funny how that all happened. Thanks for coming by Nikola and have a great day!
Hi Lisa,
You’ve explained the thing really well. And I think you’ve said almost everything about the AI matter as a summary .
As you said, there is always a need for human. The form of job will be changed and human will reform themselves for that.
Thanks for sharing this nice thought. It made me thinking for some time.
Liton
Hi Liton, yes, humans will be needed still. It will be for different types of jobs though. Just like years ago we thought they would be no “paper” work but guess what? There is still a lot of “paperwork” that needs to be done. Thanks for your input and have a great day!
Hi Lisa,
I think rise of artificial intelligence will surely affect jobs in long run. But still humans are needed to make, run and manage machines. AI can be a substitute of manpower but it can never be a substitute of human efficiency. Nice article, love to read?
You’re right, Shubha.
Hi Shubha, I agree that humans will still be needed. It’s the type of jobs that will change. And machines do break down. Thanks for coming by on this one and have a great day.
