Schedule Tweets on Twitter
You can now schedule tweets on Twitter but with 2,400 tweets available per day how many should you pump out daily?
Twitter does not come out and tell you their limit per hour on tweets but there is one.
If you do go over the tweeting limit; Twitter will send out an error message. Then, you will be allowed to try again later. At least Twitter doesn’t suspend us for this one, yet!
My answer to how many tweet should you pump out in an hour is it depends on your Twitter account. It varies on how many followers you have and what industry you are in. But one thing I can tell you for sure, just tweeting once a day will not cut it on the Twitter network!
The last stats I’ve seen is that there are 500 million tweet sent out per day. Yes, 500 MILLION tweets in one day.
So, should you schedule your tweets with the new Twitter Media Studio now?If you do go over the tweeting limit; Twitter will send out an error message. Then, you will be allowed to try again later. #Twittertips Click To Tweet
Scheduling Tweets on Desktop
New – December 2020. Now it is much easier to schedule tweets and retweets from your desktop on Twitter. When I discovered I could do it with re-tweets I got excited!
You can also use emojis and tag others.
Watch the video below to see how easy it is to do!

Twitter Media Studio
So, a while back Twitter opened up the Media Studio and allowed us to schedule tweets right from their dashboard on the desktop.
I could not wait to try this out as Facebook and Instagram allow this with their creator studio.
But I was a little disappointed when I found out we could not use emoji’s in our tweets ☹
Emjoi’s are one of those things that can really help your tweets be seen more in the Twitterfeed. They show your expressions on a topic or about a blog post.
?Some of us struggle to say YES to opportunities.
?Others struggle to say NO to distractions and commitments.
?Whatever you struggle with, the cure is PRACTICE!

Of course, I continued to play around with it and after some time decided I’ll be sticking with my Agorapulse for scheduling tweets.
If you want to know how to time out your tweets there do watch this video. I made it on how to use the Twitter Media Studio to manage your tweets on Twitter after being on a Twitter chat a few weeks ago.
People on the Twitter chat were asking how to use the Twitter media studio for planning out their tweets.
Great tips! Thanks, Lisa. https://t.co/3b0Ez7jmBL

When You Could Schedule Your Tweets on Twitter
If you are a one-person account on Twitter it may be something you can use to help you not tweet out all your important tweets at once.
But there is one other tidbit. It’s called media studio because it’s where your media is stored. Media is images, video, etc. So, you must have used this before otherwise you will have to upload your images. I’ve found it’s a little clunky at this point to schedule your tweets right on Twitter.

What Else Can You Do with The Twitter Media Studio?
It’s great for living streaming! Those of you that use periscope and other living streaming on Twitter will find this helpful.

You will be able to schedule them out. (Just like those of you that use Facebook and do a premiere video.).
What Other Tools Can You Use to Time Your Tweets?
If you have been following me for a long time here at Inspire To Thrive you know I love and use Agorapulse. But there are other options for scheduling your tweets out.
One option I recommend for a small business or one-person account is The Buffer. I believe the Buffer still offers a limited FREE account.
Other scheduling tools include Later – highly recommend by Katie Lane and looks easy to use. Hootsuite is probably one of the oldest around but I never liked it’s dashboard.
Loomly and Zoho are advertising their tools on Google today. Sprout Social is another tool I often hear about.
The Buffer was my favorite social media scheduling tool until Agorapulse came along.
Agorapulse has great reports and other options on their dashboard to find Twitter influencers and more. I had to make the switch!
So I would love to know if you schedule tweets on Twitter with their media studio or if you are using any social media tools.
Let’s discuss in the comments below 🙂
