Study Your Advertising Past

You have to study your advertising past to see where you’ve both succeeded and failed with regard to your marketing, as that will give you a better idea of what you can do to better your chances of success going forward.

When it comes to your digital marketing exploits, especially, you might want to consider making use of Google Analytics. If you do, you will be able to unearth all sorts of useful facts regarding both your best and worst advertising content. In order to get the most out of Google Analytics, you should:

> Set a custom date

> Behavior

> Site Content

> All Pages

> Comparisons

> Avg. Time on Page

> Pageviews

> Analyse your content list (more green bars equals enhanced popularity)

Become Adept at Marketing Yourself

As a business owner, you’ve probably not had much time in the past to become a marketing guru. As everything that your company does runs directly through you, however, you might want to consider becoming adept with regards to the art of advertising.

Quite simply, the more knowledge you have over this subject, the more informed your final decisions will be with regard to it.

Fear not, you don’t necessarily have to take the advice laid out by Agility PR and earn qualifications in order to become adept at advertising. There are a plethora of simple yet effective ways to learn this kind of skill, one of which is to play the game of poker.

social media management

Yes, poker! Whether you play it virtually via Unibet or whether you plonk yourself at a real-life table for an evening, taking part in this activity will teach you all about a key marketing skill, pattern reading.

You’ll naturally find yourself reading the patterns of your competitors’ plays, and you’ll then find yourself making more informed decisions on what you can do to better your chances of success during the next stage of the game.

The Result

As a result, you’ll be sure to step away from the table with a far keener eye for patterns. You’ll then be able to put this eye to good use when it comes to spotting what advertising trends are resonating with the audience, and subsequently what you can do to incorporate them into your own campaigns.

Taking your marketing to the next level is never going to be an easy task. You will make it a lot easier for yourself, though, if you heed the above advice.

    Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

Unibet sounds interesting. I’ve never heard of it.
I’m the first one to admit that I create a ton of content, but when it comes to marketing, I can always use new strategies.
I’ve used Google Analytics in the past, but I use Keywords Everywhere more these days.

Thanks for putting this together 🙂

        Hi Lisa, excellent topic.

To take your marketing strategy to the next level, you really need to understand your core audience. It’s also important to analyse your competitors to see what strategies they are implementing to grow their sales.

As you said, marketing in 2019 is NOT easy at all. Almost every industry is becoming saturated and you need to put yourself as an expert in your niche to stand out and take your profits to the next level.

Otherwise, it becomes almost impossible for anyone to build a successful online business that actually survives in the long run. Thanks for sharing the post.

        • Lisa says:

Thank you Anil. That’s for sure on the not being easy anymore at all. So many people I’ve run into over the years think they can put up a website and magically start to sell things. I wish I had a magic wand for them but it really times time and money. Thanks for your input on this one Anil. Happy Monday and new week 🙂
