Share Juice Makes It So Simple To Pin Images and Share

Share Juice Is Great For Pinning

Share Juice is a new social plugin that Hover’s over your images for others to pin. It makes it so simple for any image on your posts or website to be pinned. Have you ever gone onto a website and tried to pin an image only to find it didn’t come up? Or another image on the page came up with no other choice for the image you really wanted to pin? Been there,  done that until this plugin came along!

Share Juice

What Is This Share Juice?

Share Juice is a new premium plugin for social sharing.  Prior to Share Juice I was a big fan of Digg Digg but the Pinterest share button did not always work. I first learned of this new plugin via Adrienne Smith and then Theodore Nwangene. I signed up for a contest to win one on Theordore’s blog but could not wait for results and jumped in. Guess what? I won and now can give YOU a chance to WIN the Share Juice plugin too for 30 days!

What Can This Plugin Do For You?

  • Increases your images being pinned and shared by others.  See how it hovers over an image as you scroll on the post? And it does it for ALL images on your post. Not just one!  Pinterest can really bring your blog more traffic. This plugin will help you with that!Pin it
  • Makes it easier to configure your share buttons throughout your posts or pages. You have control where and how the share buttons are placed.
  • Support – If you ever have an issue the creator Ashvani is right there for you. We all know how important that is when it comes to tech stuff, right?

What Else Does Share Juice Do?

  • Allows you to set the order of your social share buttons.
  • Create a Facebook widget without using coding. A real plus!
  • You can add the social share buttons anywhere on your site, even customize the whereabouts of them.
  • You can add social buttons for Twitter, Facebook, Stumble Upon, Google+, LinkedIn, Buffer, Pinterest and Facebook Share.
  • Like to code? You can add CSS too with this plugin.
  • And more!

    Hi Tim,

I haven’t had any problems with Facebook images, but from time to time I will have a day where everyone’s post is several days old. I’m not sure what’s up with that, but it sure does make it hard to keep up with everyone when the Feed isn’t current.

    Hi Lisa,

Ashvini has done a great job on this plugin. He invited me for a test drive but due to some time differences and lots of stuff in my hands, we were unable to catch up with appointment. But I had some time to look into it. It’s by far better than most of what we have out there. It’s not just a social sharing tool. This guy went a bit crazy about it.

I must say good luck to participants here 😉

    Hi Silviu,

By hovering it means move your mouse to an image and stay there for a second. The image is going to darken a little bit and also a pinit button is going to emerge on the top left. Then you can just click it directly to pin the image to the pinterest.
That is what readers will find easy to do.
Pinterest is not always easy to work because they have not opened their API so it is quite possible that the other plugin may be malfunctioning.
I hope it makes sense now :).
    Thanks for your comment.

    Hi Lisa,

Yep. What you are doing is correct and right. It is something I must do (recommending other people products) but it is still too soon for me.

I used Pingraphy, for pinning and scheduling my pins. However, it works erratically. It cracks without warning and you cannot use it for a while. It became so annoying that I stopped using it. Since that time I have been more cautious.

I’ll be honest with you. From your post it is still unclear what the plugin does. “Hover’s over your images for others to pin.” I don’t understand what you mean. I honestly thing that you should add 1-2 paragraphs and maybe a picture to make people understand HOW it works.

    I hope you don’t mind.

    Have a nice day

    Hi Lisa,

Congratulations on winning the contest. Fancy not having the patients to wait and see whether you’d won or not…. ha ha reminds me of another conversation we’ve recently had 😉

I went and got Share Juice after our discussion about the concerns we had with Digg Digg.

At first I had a little trouble setting it up so Ashvini came to my rescue and got it working as it should. I was using the free 30 day trial at the time and was really impressed by Ashvini’s personal touch. So much so that when version 2 came out I bought it straight off and installed it.

The support alone is worth far more than the price. Not only that but as Ashvini said in his comment…. There’s additional features in the pipe line.

I’d recommend people jump onto your contest and try to win it 😉

    Best of luck everyone,

I would have loved to take part in your contest too, but unfortunately I don’t have a WordPress blog. I had to use codes in order to get a Pinterest image hover button for images.

Anyway, I am hearing about this plugin for the first time (have heard about Digg Digg a lot), and it looks great. I just checked it’s site. A lot of customizable options are available.

And to add to that, when the developer (Ashvini) is so active and ready to help, that’s an added bonus.

    Hey Lisa,

Congratulations! :) Now, how many times you won contests online? 😉

I’ve seen Share Juice Pro being used on the regular blogs I visit and I can recall the problem with pinning images you had here. I’m glad you switched to SJP and get ’em all working :) Actually that’s easy to pin.

All I need is Twitter / Buffer, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest :) But still I’m using Pinterest Chrome plugin though. The only thing keeps me away from pinning via plugin is that it adds the name of image into description instead of the post title :) So I gotta rename it each time. I hope Ashvini will fix it in future too.

Wishing best of luck for everyone participate in your contest Lisa :)

You have a wonderful day there dear :)

      Hi Mayura,

      Thanks for your comment .
Are you using Share Juice ? I am sure, I have not added the name of the image to code. Initially there were issues that the description was not being added but it was resolved. I will talk about the complexities of finding the description ( caption ) of the image at my blog on the site. With upcoming version , I think the Pinterest function is going to be more robust as I have been able to get my hands of a few additional scenarios.
Do let me know if there is any problem that you have with Share Juice. I am constantly looking for feedback to make it better :).
      Have a great day.

    Hi Lisa,

I’ve purchased ShareJuice Pro the very week it came out I think, as soon as Adrienne posted about it, because I was getting tired of that WP plugin which had some issues.

With ShareJuice Pro I could never show my LinkedIn icon when I opted for the floating bar, but I recently found out that it does under the content option. So, thus far that’s how I have it on my writing blog. I will try that on this other ones as well.

I know that it must be an issue with one of my plugins (as per Ashivni) but I don’t have the time to check, and if I do have a minute I don’t want to do this headache stuff :) I hate technical stuff, does it show ? LOL!

That’s great that you tell your reader about this plugin.

      HI Sylviane,

I think once you are ready for getting your hands into “technical stuff” , we can take a look at it again. I noticed plugin conflict at another blog. The person had put a plugin and it changed the code for twitter put by Share Juice completely. I have tried to not alter the code provided by social media sites, so I know the problem when it occurs.
Did you try 2.0 , may the problem is solved.

    Hi Lisa,
I was told by Adrienne that you got this post up and running :).

Thank you so much for this. I am glad that Share Juice Pro is helping so many bloggers to simplify and make things easy to share. I have created a few videos and the links are now integrated with the plugin itself. I am releasing the updates tomorrow. People who are not able to set it up will find videos very handy. I will add more videos with time.
Also they can reach me in case they have any trouble with the setup and installation.
A lot of new developments are on the way. The authorbox is already coded and is being tested. I hope everyone would find it really useful .
I love what you have done with your share juice buttons ( the little arrows are so good ). I think I can learn a lot from you here :).
Thanks once again. Happy to see you on board with this :).

Glad you love this plug-in and was so thrilled that someone actually took mine and Carolyn’s advice on something we would love to see. How cool is that, kind of like having something named after you in a way. 😉 )

So good luck to all that enter and I know you’ll be pleased with this awesome plug-in.
