Commun.it’s New Added Features For You
Commun.it Can Work For You
Commu.it has made some upgrades since I last posted about this awesome community management tool for Twitter. Do you want to know who just unfollowed you over on Twitter? Who just started to follow you or who YOU should follow? Commun.it will tell it all to you and quickly too. Just log in and you will see the following information:
It is amazing to see how fast some people will unfollow if you do not follow them back within a certain number of days. They could be using software that does this for them. Commun.it also gives you suggestions of who to unfollow – like those peeps who have not interacted with you ever on Twitter. Isn’t that the reason you are on Twitter? To interact with other peeps there? There are 500 million registered users on Twitter now and Commun.it can help you to sort them out.
You can also see on Commun.it if you are following them or not. Usually I’m not following those for whatever reason I decided when I found them first following. They could be out of my niche, eggheads or spammers, peeps that are only tweeting their own stuff with every tweet. What are your reasons for not following others on Twitter?
With the upgraded version of Commun.it you can see an engagement report for 3 days or a week or even a month. A Very Nice Report! It will show you others Klout ratings and how often they have engaged with you on Twitter.
Commun.it also has a feature like Klout where you can thank peeps for being high value members of your community, or being supports, engaged users or influencers to you. And now you can even add them into your buffer, sweet!

Hi Lisa,
I have seen you have been using Commun.it and sharing tweets
Wasn’t on to that to see how it works. Seems interesting tool. Usually I do follow users who are worth following for updates. Mostly that would be brand Twitter profiles. Except to that I don’t follow a person just after he/she follows me. If he/she interacts with me, finds very friendly to have around, I’d follow back and get to know more. Having enormous followers would be great, but I’d like to get to know more and interact than just following back.
Cheers…

Hi Mayura, it is more manageable that way too. I found the more followers the less I could go outside my own stream. Engagement is key and Commun.it helps you with that (even with the free version too)
How does Commun.it differ from Hootsuite?
Lauren recently posted..Akin Assailed for Female Defense System Leak
It’s a lot different Lauren. But both have free and paid versions. I use Hootsuite with a retail account I have for tweeting. Commun.it is more a way to find out who is connecting with your tweets and suggests who you should or should not follow based on that. Hootsuite offers more suggestions based on topics.
I’m going to check it out. I really don’t care about who unfollows me. To each his own. I follow people and then unfollow. Sometimes they look interesting and they they start their whiney, rants posts so I unfollow or some get waaaay to freaky or tweet too many political tweets. Bleh
Getting ready to check this out. Thanks!

Let me know how you like it Brenda and if you find it useful. I find many that do unfollow are because I haven’t followed them. I like different types of data on Twitter.
Lisa: Commun is a great tool. Being able to see who has unfollowed you can serve two purposes…(1) It allows you to get a better idea of who your target audience is and (2) You can possibly learn what works & what doesn’t by the response you get from different types of information you’re sending out. These two bits of data can really help you focus or refocus your business strategies. Thanks for sharing such great information!

Yes Lynn, I do love the data Commun.it provides. It’s also nice to see who engages the most with you on Twitter too. And I love how they know offer the buffer to put the messages sent out.
I have never tried Commun.it, but it sounds great. At the moment I’m using Followerwonk to get some of the same features, to analyze my followers and other users on Twitter to find the perfect people to have conversations with.
I’ll take a closer look at Commun.it to see if it’s a lot different from Followerwonk and if it covers more or different things. There’s always things to Twitter that I didn’t know about or things I need to do in order to use it better

Hi Jens, I haven’t heard of that one before. I’ll have to check it out and compare. Thanks!
Never tried Commun.it I usually use who.unfollowedme on twitter and that has been working good I normally unfollow people after about 2 months if they have not once spoken to me or if I speak to them and they don’t speak back. I weed through often so this might be great to look at.
Kita recently posted..Back to School; A Parent’s Joy by Regina P.
Oh yes, that works for just so many and then you have to use the paid version, right Kita?
Lisa,
Reasons to NOT follow people on Twitter are almost the same reasons I don’t want to talk to them offline. They don’t interest me. They are nimrods. They aren’t in my niche. They just talk about themselves. Too crazy. Too boring. Never talk.
Sounds like an interesting tool. It is always a great idea to follow people in your niche, especially the pathfinders and trendsetters.

Hi Allie, LOL, yes you are too funny. I agree, can’t stand ones that just tweet their own “stuff” all day and night long. Why bother?
Hi Lisa, I knew this community through Gail of growmap. I’m yet to follow exploit it.

I try to cut down and then something else comes along that’s a must have.
Lisa,
This sounds like a graet tool. I am going to check this out. I am always looking for ways to improve. Thank you for another great tip.
Cynthia
Hi Cynthia, you are welcome
It is easy to use too. Let me know if you have questions.
Hi Lisa,
I will try Commu.it, but can’t get the upgraded one yet. I just don’t make enough off site to warrant it. However, I will use it. I hope this isn’t a duplicate because I had to do something else before I finished comment.
Anyway, I will try this and hopefully, like it.. I need to go over my followers and make sure they are still following. Sally
