Are You Deep In The Blog Too?
Deep in the blog is the way I’d describe it since I’ve been blogging. I realized there were many things I no longer have the time to do. I’m always writing, designing, re-writing, learning and commenting on other blogs. It all takes a lot of time to do these things.
I had a garden where I grew tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkins, watermelons and a few other vegetables. I used to spend time planting, trimming, weeding and watering. It all took time. Instead of being deep in the garden I’m deep in the blog. This is what the garden looks like now:
I realized the other day I needed clothes but haven’t had the time to shop and could not remember the last time I had. It seems the only things I’ve bought lately are domain names and groceries. Just the essentials. Have you saved money since you began blogging?
3) Watching TV for fun.
It hit me last week while reading another blog about the 80’s and the show Alf, that I haven’t really watched TV for fun in a long time. I used to spend a few hours a night in front of the TV. It was relaxing. I would love comedies and shows like Sex in the City. I never missed a Sunday night series then. Now I rarely watch any TV. Maybe weather during storms and occasional news.
I used to love to bake cookies. I would make sugar cookies, wine biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. The last time I baked cookies it was Christmas. Too bad I haven’t lost weight since not baking but I’m sitting more rather than moving around tending to the garden and such.
